Simple.

I lurve Friday weaving. The six-yard 18/2 silk and wool warp is on the loom and I’m weaving the first half in Dornick twill with a darker purple weft. The second half will be “crystal” twill (just a different treadling) and a magenta weft. Say “yay” for daylight in Vancouver.

We’ve only gone a few steps… but I think I’m in love.

Yay for destashing! I love love love the bulky scarf you are knitting. The colours are so you and the little flash of bright pink/magenta just MAKES it.

Heh heh heh, what would it take to get you to send me some of your most recent lot of dyeing? (Once I get a proper address, that is!) The colours are gorgeous and so much more me than you (hint hint).

Thanks for linking to my blog (despite there not being much there yet). One of your readers has already left me a comment!

    Love, Jen.

I am new to your blog, and I have been so inspired by your weaving! I would love to learn one of these days. Can I ask how you learned? Did you take classes? What kind of loom do you use? Thanks from a curious knitter!
