Prizes & the Photo Program

Sooo… let’s give away some yarn, shall we? My first stop is actually Fiji, so I figured, let’s give out prizes to the five commenters that said Fiji — [Dani](http://knittingsunshine.blogspot.com/), Liza, Cedar, [Elizabeth](http://yarn-over.blogspot.com/), and [Beth](http://www.biggeek.knitblog.com/)… Send me your snailmail addresses by email (info at sweetgeorgiayarns dot com) and I’ll send you some yarn. And the randomly picked, winner, [Madame Purl](http://www.madamepurl.com/) — send me your address too. Y’all get yarn :P

And in other news, I’ll be giving a program for the Coquitlam Weavers Guild this Thursday, March 8 at 7 pm. The meetings are held at Place des Arts in Coquitlam and new members and guests are always welcome. So, if you aren’t already a member of the guild and you are in the Lower Mainland, come on down! I’ll be talking about photography for textiles and such. If you can’t make it, I’ll be posting my handout of tips on this site for people to download later. It’ll likely be in PDF format. Cheers!

You will love Fiji. Every time the sun rises it looks like a painting. It is so beautiful I actually cried when I saw it for the first time. It’s that gorgeous.

    Fiji! Cool.

Felicia, would you drop me a line at bunniegirl at shaw dot ca? I can’t see how to contact you here (I may be retarded — it’s not you, it’s me) and I have a question before you leave.

First, have a great time traveling! Fiji sounds like a great place to start. It definitely sounds like you deserve to take an extended break. We will, of course, miss your blogging and yarn. Second, will you be listing any of the yarn you have left? I checked the online retailers and none of the US shops seem to have your yarn in stock any more. :-(

    Have a great time!

    oooohhhhh 6 MONTHS!!!
I plan to do that within the next few years myself!!

If you haven’t planned it all already — GO TO Sri Lanka!! The mountains are AMAZZZING!!!
I just spent 6 days hiking and climbing and knitting and even a little swimming there!! (We did more mountains than beach this time but are already planning a return trip!)
If you want any info (driver/car hire, hotel, guides etc) let me know. I will be blogging about it – but I’m still catching up on the prior stop – India!!
    Cheers!
