Diamond Fantasy
Vancouver is seriously lacking sufficient light to take photos right now. These were shot at 6400 iso. 6400. I can’t even believe it.
The Diamond Fantasy Shawl is done and blocked. Knit out of the Silk Lamb Lace yarn, I followed Sivia’s instructions to the letter — the shawl is 10 repeats with the icord edging. The perfect size. Divine and soft, I love it. If you are in Vancouver and want to see it up close and personal, it’s actually at the [three bags full](http://www.threebagsfull.ca) shop right now. I’ll probably leave it there for a couple weeks… and I doubt I’ll need to wear it anytime soon!

I love it! It’s really beautiful. Hope you get better weather soon.
It is absolutely gorgeous!
Gorgeous! The photos rock too
gorgeous shawl in a beautiful color!
That is stunning. It’s looks beautiful in the slightly varigated yarn. The darker than normal lighting just makes it stand out more.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! your pics are still gorgeous.
That turned out really nicely!
Crazy mine only goes to 1600. Maybe it’s time for a Speedlite.
Ooh! I get to see it at work tomorrow! Hooray!
So beautiful!
Gorgeous – perfect. I have her pattern sitting on my shelf right now, waiting patiently…
Being on the opposite coast in Halifax, I understand the lack of light (we actually had power outages not that long ago due to “salty fog”:)
BTW, I knit a pair of gauntlets out of your “Buffy” colourway – just wanted to say that I was VERY pleased with your yarn/dyework! No fading, the yarn is so soft and spongy, no pooling, it reminded me of Koigu (but I think I like yours more!)
One of my favorite patterns ever. You and the shawl are beautiful!
ah, that’s one of my favorite shawls! it knit up beautifully!
Oh, that’s beautiful! Now I’m inspired to go spin more yarn for mine…
You and the shawl look lovely! So nice to see a photo that includes your pretty face.
It looks really beautiful! And your pictures are stunning – as ever!
this is an incredibly silly question, do you wax? I never like to show that area in photos because I don’t like how it looks but you look.. um nice lol!! I feel so silly asking this but I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask lol!!
So Gorgeous Felicia!!!!!!!! AMAZING
Wow, that’s gorgeous!!!! I like the pictures too!
Beautiful photos! Love your Diamond Fantasy.
And is your Silk Lamb Lace being sold at any of the online stores? I’d love to get me some.
Wow, Felicia. That’s gorgeous, and so are you! Sivia’s design is fantastic, and I’m not even a triangle wearer (I am determined to make one of her rectangular stoles).
Ooooooh!!! That’s absolutely gorgeous!
Beautiful shawl!
that has to be one FANCY DSLR that you have there to get that high of grain! But the grain makes it look all the better
and really I want one of these shawls but triangluar ones kind of scare me as I am not that keen on where it points to…
you look lovely with it though… like that wasnt a given
ooooh very pretty – both you and the shawl !
I have to come out of my hiding place and tell you how BEAUTIFUL your shawl is! I have loved this pattern since the 1st time I saw it and with the Silk Lamb Lace in that lovely color it is phenomenal!
Absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just stunning…absolutely gorgeous. How fantastic that it’s even your own yarn!
Ahh… the joy of cloudy weather.
The photos are awesome as usual. I really like how the shawl turned out.
Beautiful!
The shawl is lovely as is the knitter. May I ask where you got the yarn? I am in the states.
Patty in Baltimore, Maryland
Gorgeous! I really can’t wait to get my hands on some of your yarn… but like I said, it will be all the more sweet to get it when I’m IN Vancouver. I’m so homesick!!!
Gorgeous! Now I really feel the need to knit another shawl…somebody stole my Birch shawl
She’s just lovely, Felicia! And to think that I saw her when she was still attached to the ball! Hoping to get over to see Diamond Fantasy in the wool (so to speak) tomorrow morning.
I was just linked to your blog and love your work. You’ve done some truly wonderful weavings, as well as great knitting. I am getting my first loom this winter, and had a question. I love your gorgeous silk scarves and was wondering if you knew either approximately how many yards or how much weight you’re using when making one.
I saw your shawl at tbf on monday and I was floored. It is so gorgeous in your yarn! I just bought some lace yarn in that colourway for myself… Thank you for bringing it in to live in the store for a while… so sweet of you!
Paris-Vancouver is a bit far away to see in real this gorgeous shawl… Hope to come back there soon
wow! stunningly beautiful
i really like the color on you too!
I just went to three bags full and got my hands on your shawl. It’s even better in person!
You look so beautiful in that colour!!! The shawl is gorgeous.
Okay, now I have another reason to go over to Three Bags Full. Can’t wait to check it out. And I hear you on the lack of light in Vancouver these days. Decent naturally-lit photos are near impossible at the moment.
I absolutely love the shawl you’ve knit. It’s a work of art and knit in that beautiful yarn you’ve created, fantabulous!
Looks to me to be purple colorway, maybe the new casis but difficult to know on my monitor screen.
Could you let me know which colorway it is as I would like to order your yarn in same color and knit up this shawl.
Happy Holidays and Happy Knitting
