Lovely and amazing.
I have been secretly in love with [Rachael](http://www.yarnagogo.com) since she knit [Alice Starmore's Cromarty](http://www.yarnagogo.com/blog/2004/10/cromarty.html) in custom-dyed Koigu Kersti. She is not so secretly in love with [Lala](http://blogsy.smartyboots.net/). And last night, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting them both after their wedding here in Vancouver. A lovely and amazing couple.
Also at the Sylvia Hotel reception last night were [Mandy (Yarnageddon)](http://yarnageddon.com/2006/04/sleepy.html) and [Janice (Rabbitch)](http://rabbitch.blogspot.com/2006/04/oh-canada.html) who were the witnesses at the ceremony, Zak (Mandy’s DH), [Rachael (photographer)](http://www.rachaelashe.com/), Siew and Heather. All lovely and amazing people.
Of course, I was too shy to bring my camera, so you can go see [Rabbitch's photos here...](http://rabbitch.blogspot.com/2006/04/oh-canada.html) or [Rachael's photos here...](http://www.yarnagogo.com/blog/2006/04/wedding_20.html)
Oh, and in case I accidentally gave anybody the impression that I spun up all the silk for the Flower Basket Shawl in one day (!)… this is the entirety of what I spun:

It’s a teeny tiny amount, but just enough to knit up a sample!

What a beautiful color!
Yeah, well, I’m still impressed.
Pretty! How much more are you hoping to spin?
And of course I don’t even have enough grace to link to you. Could I be any more crass? (The answer is yes, btw).
So good to meet you! That was a lot of fun. They should get married more often.
Beautiful! Glad you had a lovely time
I’m SO glad we got to meet you. We had a fabulous time — best drink-up reception knit-out EVER.
xo
That color is pretty. Can’t wait to see the finished Flower Basket Shawl. That shawl is still on my list of things to make when I get around to it!
Hi Felicia… did I miss the new stock at your yarn shop?
All of your colors are beautiful. And your knitting matches.
Excuse me now, while I go stare at all the colors again.
i’ve taught a few friends. i too start with the long-tail CO, then knit stitch. i save binding off and purling for next time we meet though! and i’m a poor teacher because i tell them buy stitch’n’ bitch and read up on GAUGE there. hahaha!
