Happy thoughts.

Today is a day in desperate need of happy thoughts. So, I bring you some happy colours for a yucky Friday…

New colourway. Lotus. Although, it reminds me of Chinese pastries.

And of course, I couldn’t get enough of Jo’s fabulous sheep illustration, so I had to make it permanent somehow. So, here are the pottery pieces I painted about two weeks ago with the sheep:

That’s it. Hope your Friday is going better than mine!

That bowl and plate are absolutely darling! I am the worst pottery painter on earth, and I don’t say that to be modest, I say it because tiny paintbrushes suddenly become tree trunks in my hands and everything turns out a muddy brown. But you! So good with the painting! And the drawing! With things that can’t be erased!

I hope your Friday gets better!

Wonderful stuff! It’s been a crappy Friday at my office, and then home to a crabby hubby and crabby child-unit as well.

OMG! The colours are absolutely gorgeous!!!! And the bowls and plates are sooooo cute!

What’s wrong? My Friday was okay…it could’ve been better. I mean, I got a bit annoyed at the university. So, I was downing that down with 5 glasses of 2000 Red Carinena Reserva last night while knitting away on my Meilenweit Fantasie…I’m pretty surprised I didn’t make any mistakes last night. LOL Probably because I was just knitting the leg in 2×2 ribs…but I doubt I’d be able to turn the heel drinking 5 glasses of red wine! LOL

Wow, that is truly inspiring! :-) I actually reorganized my stash yesterday and started a twenty four hour dye-a-thon. Well, okay, I ate…slept…watched TV…and did several other things along the way…but I got four or five pounds of fiber dyed! Lucky for me, it is a beautiful day here in Mississippi and I have it all out drying in the back yard.

How utterly fantastic! Is there anything you can’t do?

  33. Jocelyn says...

Is that Lotus yarn from Treenway? I find their site hard to navigate, so can you send me a link to it? I love the color. Thanks.
