I'm working on a baby alpaca hat and I'm thinking, you people who don't knit or have someone to knit for you are so missing out! I "shopped" around for a cap at the mall, you won't believe what passes for a hat now. A cheap knitted fabric, fold in half, cut in dome shape and sew! They don't even bother to knit it on the machines! I bet a "properly made" hat would cost $100 at Holt Renfrew nowadays! Rock on , knitters!
