HAHAHA, I do hope we get a photo of the makeshift spindle. This post has made my day.
Define “problem”.
I think the problem is that you need to quit your day job.
Jayme
Your “problem” is intense creativity and passion that can’t be contained in a 9 – 5 job. Keep spinning.
LOL!
I wish you would have given instructions on how to make one a couple of days ago so I wouldn’t have spent $15.00 yesterday on one. You are too much! *giggling uncontrollably*
Hilarious! Do you think I could get away with that in class?
ohhh, I love to covertly spin and knit at work! I’ll have to post my makeshift icord maker on my blog tomorrow – All you need is a coffee cup, paper clips, scissors and some tape! You really should post a pic of your office spindle.
oh my. you are hilarious.
Yes… please, please post a pic for us. I have some roving I bought for thrummed mittens, and I have way more than I’ll need, so I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with the rest, and I’m too cheap to go buy a real spindle (knitting has made me very fiscally irresponsible… I can only imagine the trouble I’ll get myself in if I let myself start buying spinning stuff).
I can’t wait to see Marie’s i-cord maker, too. What fun
This isn’t what we call a problem. We call it a passion.
In what universe would that be twisted? LOL! It’s no different from surfing blogs and drooling over yarn online at work…at least that’s what I used to do when working too and my oh my, what a great sanity break it was too! It’s not twisted, it’s sane!
I think this requires a photograph!
(By the way – a caution to your readers: If you type in sweetgeorgia.com instead of sweetgeorgia.planetfishdesign.com, you get the webpage of ms. nude internet 2002. Whoops. I really need to remember not to make that mistake again!)
BWA HA HA!
Hahaha, that sounds like a true junkie!
Your photos are beautiful. What setting on the camera are you usually using ? Any filters ? As for knit’g I’m a novice and you are inspirational, Thank you. sarah wang
i think that instead of a drum carder we should get you some professional help for christmas!! (just kidding, maybe)
