The Odd Couple
I finished a pair of socks this weekend — not a matching pair, however. These are the first socks of the two pairs that I’m knitting — one for the DH and one (pink!) for me. These are your plain vanilla, super simple cuff down socks:

I finished the toe shaping on my red/pink sock while watching that Star Wars movie — I mean really, I had to spend that time being somewhat productive!

Wow, what nice tight fabric. Are they knit with US0’s? Love that pink yarn, too!
Thanks Kat, I think they are US 1’s. I knit socks on Addi Turbo’s 2.5 mm at 32″ or 47″ but I don’t remember what US size corresponds to 2.5 mm…
what an accomplishment! i love your socks :)they look very good!
I love the socks too. I’ve never knitted socks before, but plan to do so this summer, since they seem to be very portable. Do you use two circs or one for knitting socks?
Lovely colors. I am always knitting socks LOL DH gets mad at me for pulling one out of my purse in line.
i love the color of your sock! nice combination of pinks and black. that little shrug looks cute, too!
I’m absolutely smitten by that pink sock.
Your socks look terrific! Hey, who cares if they match or not… The pink one is one of the nicest self-patterning ones I’ve seen.
I love the different socks on two feet picture! They both came out incredible! Glad you had a successful sock weekend!
Wow that ONline Supersocke Effekt is amazing. Great job on the socks.
i have that pink Online sock yarn in my stash - you are inspiring me to finish the socks I currently have on the needles just so that I can get to it.
I love the socks. Great job as always. Hey did you send in your Masters Level 1 yet?
Beautiful socks - I think they match, but… don’t ask me - and I know what you mean about the star wars… hehe.
What method do you use for toe shaping? I can’t tell from the photo. I think it might be the shape of my feet, but my toe shaping always leaves a little squared-off looking bit, at the toe. Know what I mean?
