Baby Norgi

The Baby Norgi is on its way! I’ve done nearly 6 inches of the body — but at 36 sts and 40 rows per 4 inches, it’s taking a while. Yes, I know I’m knitting tighter than the recommended gauge in the pattern, but I’m just doing this to learn the steeking stuff — I’m sure I can find a tiny baby to wear this tiny sweater!

Holly Cow…. I love the back it is beautiful. Look at those perfect little loops. Lovely works as always. There is always finding a big teady bear who needs a sweater.

oh! love the fair isle. though baby garments are small, but the gauge kind of makes them just as laborious! i’m finishing up the baby cardigan with baby ull this weekend so check my site for pics! did you carry over the yarn or weave in when you do the fair isle? that looks so lovely the way you did it.

Hi there! New to your blog and must say that this is so absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful work and color combos. It makes me want to go out and find a friend with a baby or have one myself so I can make one, too! OK, well, maybe I’ll hold off on the baby until I have a more valid reason… : )

So you’ll have the present but will need to find the recipient? You’re right, it shouldn’t be difficult. Good luck with the steeking (shudder, I’ve never tried it).
