Hi Felicia,
I stumbled across your blog on my way to looking up something else. Your comment about going to Birkland Bros made me think that perhaps you live in 'this' part of the country and would like to know about the Knit Out happening here in Victoria on June 12. For the past two years a number of members of the Victoria Spinners' and Weavers' Guild have turned up with their wheels, so I expect that they will be here this time too.
And this year we have a park permit that allows us to have vendors as well.
You can get more information at the website that organizer Marilyn Guille has set up at
communityknitters.com/knitout.htm

And if you are in Victoria on a Wednesday morning, you're welcome to drop in to our weekly gathering of the Victoria Knitters' Guild. Google for "Victoria Knitters' Guild" and you will arrive at our nascent website.

Happy spinning and knitting,
Barb Beukema in Victoria (pre-novice spinner, but I can knit...grin)
