Double Trouble

In a moment of online buying _madness_, I managed to accidently purchase duplicates of the new Jaeger Siena pattern book and the new RYC Classic shade cards (Cashsoft and Cashcotton). Now, I have to first offer these duplicate items to my girlfriends here in town, but if they don’t want them, I’ll be open to selling or trading them… more when I know what they decide.

Silly girl. Liked me so much, she bought me twice.

Cashsoft 4-ply

The Cashsoft 4-ply is a good potential for that Vogue Knitting 1954 twinset! But look at the nice new patterns in these two books:

Jaeger Siena: Yet another shawl! And yet another lacy cardi!

Jaeger 4-ply: Ok, ok. These are the same pattern, “Tansy”, but in a high-end Cashmina version (left) and a less expensive Matchmaker Merino 4-ply version (right). Hmm, to bead or not to bead….

I like LeAnne’s comment from yesterday — “Start ‘em all!”. Why not? I could, in fact, start that Lacy Cardi in the Rowan 4-ply cotton I already have… I mean, it’s yarn that’s sitting there, waiting to be knit. Ah, I love starting new projects!

    Very Pretty.

I agree with LeAnne start them all…you have yarn waiting to be knitted up.

As for the bead or not to bead…bead of course. If you don’t want to invest in beads drop me a line and what size and color you are looking for. I will probably have it or be able to lay my hand on it at better than good prices.

Wow, those Jaeger books are nice. Now I am tempted to get them but I am still waiting for the Spring issue of Keitodama on this side of the globe before buying any mags :-) I agree on starting everything but make sure you finish something soon *lol*

Is that bead or ribbon on the 4-ply cardigan? I love that design SO much. Can’t wait to see how yours shapes up.

    Take care!

Where did you get the books? I have been looking for them and the new Adrienne Vitadini – love that lace cardigan with no luck…

My vote is for the lace cardigan, but then, I have lace on the brain these days!
