Up to my armpits…

Since I finished my Christmas knitting, I’ve been wondering “What am I working on now?” and I can only think of the Highgate sweater and the Manly sweater. For both sweaters, I’ve started shaping armholes which really means I’m up to my armpits in knitting back pieces.

Last night, it really dawned on me (duh) that if I don’t finish these sweaters soon, it will be Spring! And then we’ll have to get out the knitted bikini patterns (!). I’ve also got two scarves to finish: the Backyard Leaves for me and the Harry Potter PoA for the DH. Oh, and the TKGA Level 1 swatches that I’m this close to finishing. Must finish before Spring!

Here’s a little gift I sewed up for my friend Jo’s birthday: a smaller version of my needle case…it’s only 13″ tall…not knowing that Jo had gone and bought one of every pair of needles available at Daiso…and that they are all 14″ long. Heh heh heh. But Jo doesn’t mind because she just got engaged last week. Nothing fazes her now!

That fabric is sooooo pretty! Love the fastner! Do you have a picture of the inside? I just learned how to sew and made some needle cases for my friends. I made mine for circulars and based it on the pattern from stitch’n'bitch. What are the dimensions?

Ooh that looks great. I so need a needlecase (right now I stack them in a decorative wine bottle!), but I don’t (can’t) sew.

    Beautiful!

Oh, my, Felicia, that is really beautiful. And the frog is perfect. What a lucky friend you have.

That’s the most gorgeous needle-keeper I’ve ever seen!!!!! Where did you find that lovely silk brocade? You’ve got a gorgeous blog here. Lovely name, too - Felicia. Do you pronounce it American style or more European?
