Three cups of espresso later…

This is actually just coffee from the vending machine at school.

This is the first piece of 4×5 film I’ve ever had developed, so this is pretty exciting. After a few “caustic jelly” experiences with Polaroid film, I think I’m ok with that too now. This Friday is the dessert demo!

I don’t think I’ve seen coffee presented in such a tantalizing manner before. Mmmm… I’ll just go grab a cuppa! The lights / shiny stuff in the background look interesting. What are they?

I agree with you about Knitty’s bonus issue. The booby scarf is cute but I prefer the heart scarf better. Sorry to hear about your FBS… is it long enough now? Oh, do post piccies of it… I enjoy your photos very much :o)

Hey Lyn! Thanks! Yes, the lights in the back are christmas lights! The whole plate is sitting on a piece of black marble, so some of the lights reflect off there as well. The instructor recommended that next time, I use the christmas lights with the green casing rather than the white casing. That way you just get the lights and not the white stuff.

The FBS will be blocked and posted soon… You know, I even left off the last repeat to save yarn… I don’t think I want to frog back to gain back some yarn (ugh, frogging mohair!)… maybe I’ll just do the last few rows in the La Gran mohair that I received…it’s about the same colour… Hmmm…..

What a great photo! My other favorite pasttime besides knitting and reading. Or in combo - reading while knitting and sipping. :)

what do you think?
