Snowy and fluffy, Gleams of Winter

As a pick-me-up, I visited the Knit-n-Stitch Shoppe in West Vancouver on Friday and picked up two packs of Phildar Steppe in Pie and Ecru and some Phildar Sunset in Iris?¬© for two sweaters… one from the Fall Tendances magazine and the other from the new Winter Tendances. It’s one strand of fuzzy Steppe and one of the glittery Sunset. It really does remind me of (other people’s) winters — all snowy, fluffy and crystalline. Unfortunately, in Vancouver, it just rains all winter. Ah well, this sweater will have to serve as my oft dreamed of winter.
